Wessex Trains pink 31601 The Mayor of Casterbridge

Wessex Trains pink Mk.2F Tourist Second Open coach

The perfect pairing: a TMC-exclusive Class 31 with the striking Wessex Trains Mk.2F coaches.

There's a rather obvious gap if you've already bought one of our exclusive Class 31s: the train behind it! Our newly created Wessex Trains coach bundles bring the four matching Mk.2F vehicles together in a single choice.

In 2004, Wessex Trains used Class 31s in top-and-tail service between Bristol and Weymouth. The pink-and-silver stock and locomotives such as 31601 and Fragonset's 31452 became a favourite with enthusiasts. Now you can recreate that unmistakeable scene in OO gauge.
