Hornby unveils 'OO' ‘Lest We Forget’ FLIRT
BREAKING NEWS: Hornby 'Lest We Forget' Class 755 Revealed
![]() A new model with a story worth telling. Hornby has revealed a remarkable addition to its Greater Anglia Class 755 family: the four-car ‘Lest We Forget’ FLIRT, inspired by the real-life unit 755414 and its moving poppy livery. The story began in autumn 2024, when Greater Anglia unveiled this distinctive train as a tribute to fallen service personnel and all who have served. The words ‘Lest We Forget’, surrounded by red poppies, run along the sides of a modern train that continues to carry its message through towns and communities across East Anglia. Now Hornby is bringing that powerful combination of modern railway engineering and remembrance to OO gauge — a train pack with real meaning, as well as unmistakable visual presence on a contemporary layout.
