50035 ‘Ark Royal’ entered service on the August 1968. Built at the English Electric Vulcan Foundry and first allocated to Stoke devision under running number D435. This model represents 50035 in mid-1980’s condition in its classic NSE livery with Ark Royal nameplates.
The model features a powerful 5-pole motor with dual bogie drive and a heavy diecast chassis for maximum traction. A HM7000-Next18 sound decoder can be fitted for control of the full lighting package and realistic class 50 sound effects using the free to download Class 50 sound profile.
