• 8 mm – closer, more prototypical spacing (best on wider curves)

• Fixed - This is for making a semi-semi permanent coupling, or for use on the end of a consist 

Installation & Compatibility 

Installation is simple—push the coupling shaft into a standard NEM socket until firmly seated. 

• Suitable for most modern rolling stock with NEM pockets 
• Not compatible with step-down connectors (e.g. Bachmann Mk1 coaches), as contact with the chassis may cause friction and reduce performance 

Polarity Guidance 

Correct polarity is essential for proper operation. Each coupling has a small moulded bolt indicator near the magnet. 

• Align indicators consistently across your fleet so magnets attract rather than repel 
• Use a standard orientation (e.g. all indicators facing the same side) for full compatibility between stock
