Manufactured from high-quality 12mm poplar plywood, these baseboards provide an excellent combination of strength, stability and manageable weight, making them ideal for everything from permanent home layouts to modular and exhibition railways.

These baseboards are supplied flat packed for convenient storage and transport and, once assembled, measure 100mm tall.

DCB-DWL Ready – Easy, Accurate Alignment

Every standard Layout Concepts baseboard is DCB-DWL ready, with accurately positioned holes ready to accept our DCB-DWL Baseboard Alignment Dowels.

The dowel system helps locate adjoining boards accurately every time, making assembly and dismantling quicker while helping maintain consistent alignment between sections of your railway.

Please note: DCB-DWL alignment dowels are purchased separately.

Don't need alignment dowel holes? We can also supply the boards without the DCB-DWL holes if required. Simply let us know when ordering.

Leg Pockets Included as Standard

Each baseboard is supplied with corner pockets for fitting baseboard legs as standard.

Please note: the corner leg pockets may not be shown in the product images.

Matching Layout Concepts Baseboard Legs are available separately and are also supplied flat packed, making them easy to store, transport and assemble when required.

Due to their size and bulky nature, shipping for baseboards is calculated at the time of shipping.

Customers should expect the delivery charge to be significantly higher than our standard shipping rates, even though the baseboards are supplied flat packed. The final shipping cost will depend on the size, quantity and destination of the order.
