The Model Centre is proud to announce that we will be an official sponsor of Model World Live 2026, taking place at the NEC Birmingham on April 25–26, 2026.

Organised by Key Model World, this major two-day event brings together model railway layouts, leading manufacturers, specialist traders, live demonstrations and hands-on experiences across multiple modelling disciplines. From static modelling and weathering to painting and radio control, Model World Live showcases the full breadth of the hobby under one roof.

The 'OO' layout 'Arrowmouth' was built by the Redditch Model Railway Club, dating from the late 1980s. First shown in 1992, it is set to appear at the show.

As part of our sponsorship, TMC will be closely linked to the Tamiya-operated Radio Control track, which promises to be one of the standout attractions of the show. Visitors will be able to take part in turn-up-and-drive RC sessions and enjoy live demonstrations delivered by the Tamiya team. The fully operational RC track highlights the broad appeal of the exhibition and reinforces our commitment to supporting all aspects of the hobby.

Ticket Information

Discounted advance tickets are available now, offering reduced prices and entry from 9.30am each day.

Advance prices:

  • Adults: £20 (Saturday)
  • Children under 16: £10 (Saturday)
  • Children under 16: Free on Sunday when accompanied by a paying adult (maximum two children per adult)
  • Weekend tickets are available for £40 and include two-day entry plus a £10 voucher to spend on the Key Model World stand.

VIP tickets are available for £60 and include:

  • Access to the VIP lounge from 9am
  • Separate express entry lane
  • Entry to the show from 9.30am
  • £25 worth of Key Publishing publications
  • Exclusive discounts at the Key Model World Shop stand
