Faithfully recreated for 1:76 scale

Introduced in 1995 for automotive traffic, the KSA wagons — often referred to as 'Rover Cube' wagons — were designed to transport car components between major UK production sites.

With their boxy profile and sliding covers, they quickly became a standout feature on the network, later evolving into timber carriers after conversion in the 2010s.

Now, both forms are available to 'OO' modellers, allowing modellers to recreate automotive flows of the late BR and early privatisation era, Anglo-Scottish freight workings and modern timber traffic operations

 

Two main tooling variants for great possibilities...

'Rover Cubes'

The original enclosed design, complete with their distinctive slab-sided appearance, is perfect for modelling 1990s–2000s freight operations. These wagons look particularly impressive when run in block formations behind anything from RfD Class 47s to Class 66s.

 

Timber conversions

Later conversions saw the removal of covers and the addition of vertical stanchions, transforming the wagons into rugged timber carriers. These are ideal for **modern image layouts**, especially when mixed with other timber stock.
