Hot on the heels of the first batch of Class 50s, Accurascale are delighted to announce a further batch, due for delivery in Q4 2026.

We're producing four new releases in a variety of popular liveries, ranging from the attractive revised Network SouthEast, BR's classic 'Laira Blue', timeless BR Blue, and a depiction of the enthusiast's favourite Ajax, in 1980s BR Large Logo blue.

Class 50 No. 50019 Ramillies wears the popular ‘Laira Blue’ colour scheme applied to just three members in the class at the Plymouth depot whilst on Departmental duties. Ramillies was the only one of the three to gain the DCE flash under the secondman’s window.

50029 Renown is modelled in the smart revised version of Network SouthEast, applied to the prototype in 1989, complete with 'West of
England' branding. 50029 was one of the last active members of the class,
operating until withdrawal in March 1992.

50035 Ark Royal features in the timeless BR Blue livery, one
of just three Class 50s to gain plated headcode panels with sealed-beam marker lights in the late 1970s. 50035 would later become the first Class 50 to be preserved, and can today be found operating at the Severn Valley Railway wearing classic BR Blue livery.

A firm enthusiast favourite; 50046 Ajax is recreated in iconic BR Large Logo blue livery. The locomotive first received the livery from 1983, and operated through the end in March 1992. Despite scrapping, the cabs from this popular machine can still be found in preservation, and Ajax is sure to be a highly-sought after model amongst Class 50 fans in the years to come.

The models are expected to reach retailers during Q4 2026. Sound Variants will be available for £299.99. Analogue £189.98
