Celebrate James Bond Day on 5 October with TMC. Watch our video, discover James Bond models and find a favourite 007 vehicle for your collection.
You don’t need to be a die-cast collector to have a favourite Bond car.
Perhaps it’s the Aston Martin you wanted after watching your first 007 film, or a gadget-packed machine that stole the scene. James Bond Day is a good excuse to revisit those favourites—and find one for your own collection.
At TMC, we’re celebrating with a new video showcasing our in-stock James Bond models. Take a look at the line-up, then explore the models behind those memorable screen appearances.
Why Is James Bond Day on 5 October?
James Bond Day takes place on 5 October, marking the world premiere of Dr. No in 1962. Starring Sean Connery, the film introduced cinema audiences to 007 and launched the Bond film series. In 2026, that makes it 64 years since Bond’s big-screen debut.
For our celebration, we’re putting the vehicles in the spotlight.

The vehicles that became part of the story
Few cars are as closely associated with Bond as the Aston Martin DB5. Its gadget-equipped appearance in Goldfinger helped turn a British grand tourer into a film icon – and an obvious starting point for a Bond model collection.

But the appeal goes beyond Aston Martin. Think of the Lotus Esprit Turbo carrying skis in For Your Eyes Only, or Little Nellie, the compact autogyro flown by Bond in You Only Live Twice. These machines offer very different collecting possibilities, from sports cars to aircraft.
That connection to a particular film is what makes choosing a Bond model personal. You’re not simply picking a vehicle; you’re choosing a reminder of a scene, an actor or an adventure you enjoyed.

Our range includes different interpretations of Bond’s best-known Aston Martin, allowing you to choose by film as well as scale.

The MiniGT Thunderball Aston Martin DB5, presents the car in compact 1:64 scale – an option worth considering when display space is limited.

For a larger model, Corgi's No Time To Die Aston Martin DB5, represents the car in 1:36 scale with more detail for those building a collection around Daniel Craig’s Bond adventures.
Browse the individual listings for photographs, prices and current availability. Check the scale carefully, particularly when choosing a model to sit alongside an existing collection.

Buying for a Bond Fan?
Start with their favourite film or vehicle rather than trying to guess which model is the most collectable.
A single car can make a thoughtful display piece without committing someone to a whole collection. For an established collector, check which versions they already own: the same vehicle can appear in several film-specific releases.
