Dapol's much-loved 'silver bullet' depressed tank wagons are making a come-back for 'OO' with new variants due early-2027. Proposed models will be available in VOEA, ERMEWA and NACCO liveries. The NACCO variant will be available in both pristine and weathered versions. Pre-ordering will be essential to guarantee supply in the correct quantities, with no deposit required.

The original fleet of ICA tank wagons was built in France by Arbel Fauvet between 1989 and 1990, with a further batch following in 2007. They entered service in the early 1990s and have remained a familiar sight ever since. These wagons have attracted a huge variety of motive power – Classes 37, 47, 56, 58, 59, 60, 66 and 92 to name a few. Explore the new variants here to secure your new rake!

MJA mineral wagons return!

Meanwhile, we can look forward to a new batch of MJA bogie hoppers for 'OO' too, as Dapol reveals six new twin-packs of these most-versatile of mineral wagons. Widely-used throughout the UK, these are an essential for present-day modellers, and pair wonderfully with recent motive power releases from Bachmann, Accurascale, Dapol and Hornby.
