Bachmann unveils all-new Class 13 duo for ‘OO’

Bachmann Branchline has officially revealed an exciting new addition to its ‘OO’ gauge range – the Class 13 diesel shunter, never before produced in this scale with such detail. Based on the real-life locomotives formed by permanently coupling two Class 08s, the Class 13s were a unique solution for the demands of Tinsley Marshalling Yard, operating near Sheffield between 1965 and 1985.

The new Bachmann Branchline Class 13 model shares a significant portion of its design and performance with its newly-tooled Class 08, delivering powerful, smooth running and top-tier digital control features.
