ACC2077-TMC2 Accurascale OO Gauge SR Mixed D1478/D1479 Van - BR 1950s Livery - TMC Exclusive - Triple Pack 2
Three wagon multi-pack
Containing three wagons, numbered:

This TMC exclusive pack of the recently announced Accurascale Banana Van contains a mixed rake of one D1478 wagon and two D1479 wagons. One wagon has Geest stickers attached and the other two Fyffes. The wagons are decorated in the pre 1961 livery with steam heat pipes fitted to the wagons. These wagons would have run in this condition from the early 1950's through to the early 1960's when steam heating was discontinued in favour of additional insulation. Typical workings of these wagons from Southampton Docks would be in block trains which would then be split for onward transit to banana depots around Southern England, so these models can be used to supplement the other packs available to make a block train or to form a split section of the block train being forwarded to a local banana depot.
