76VW032 Oxford Diecast OO Gauge VW Bay Window Camper Silver Grey/White
Details
In the evolution of the VW Camper Van, the bay window version, known as the T2, superseded the split windscreen model in 1967. The vehicle was still produced by VW in Germany and featured upgrades – apart from the panoramic windscreen – including a larger engine, 12 volt battery/electrical system and half-shaft axle rear suspension. Other modifications included front brakes, new wheels and side bars which could be used as a step to get into and out of the van. It was also larger and heavier than its predecessor.
Our latest release is decorated in an attractive two tone pale grey and white colour scheme with white bumpers and white VW badge. The white roof also has a rear slatted area masked in brown. The interior of the camper van is moulded completely in beige.
Camper vans are still much sought after today and command high prices, even second-hand, or pre-loved as now described!
