It has welded sides and ends, split axleboxes and RCH W irons. E286444 was one of th final batch of Doble Bolter wagons built by the LNER in 1946 to diagram 168. 1. Top Double Bogie Wagon 4 Star Review

I believe this is the first time that this particular wagon has been available as a ready to run model for the BR steam/early diesel era. Both ran very freely straight out of the box and I thought the paint work finish was very good. Well recommended if you do not have this model.

Excellent detailed model of the double bolsters and look forward to further products from TMC.

  3. Excellent model of a wagon not available r-t-r for many years 5 Star Review

I'm very impressed with these wagons, which capture the look of the prototype very well.

Wheels are improved over previous wagons from the same maker.

The NEM coupler mountings align correctly and don't droop, making a change to my preferred Kadees a task of moments.
