2003 Ford Focus RS Custom (TT-02 Chassis) R/C Assembly Kit

This R/C model kit brings the rally-inspired 2003 Ford Focus RS Custom to life, mounted on the user-friendly and versatile TT-02 chassis. Originally refined by Ford Motor Co.’s Team Chief Engineer Christian Loriaux, the 2003 Focus featured numerous performance upgrades. These included changes to seat positioning, roll cage design, suspension tuning, and enhanced aerodynamics—highlighted by a reshaped front bumper, repositioned hood intake, and a prominent rear wing. Powered by a 2-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine producing 300PS and 550Nm of torque, this rally car made its mark with four second-place finishes in the Manufacturer rankings over a seven-year racing career. This model replicates a custom street version without sponsor decals.

TT-02 Chassis: Versatile, Balanced, and Easy to Build

The TT-02 chassis features a shaft-driven 4WD system with a longitudinal layout—placing the battery on the left and motor on the right—for improved stability. It’s designed for ease of use, with symmetrical suspension arms and uprights, plus maintenance-friendly gearboxes. This adaptable platform allows for two wheelbase lengths, two ground clearance options, and two tread setups, along with a choice of ten different gear ratios. The chassis also boasts realistic touches like brake disc-style wheel hubs and stylish front bumper reinforcements.
