BR introduced the ‘FFA’ bogie container wagon in the 1960s and used them for its Freightliner intermodal traffic, which used the latest ISO container standards used for shipping. They marked a new era for BR freight operations, with continuous air brakes eliminating the need for a brake van. 

The two containers with this OO gauge RailRoad model wagon example represent ‘Evergreen’ and ‘Hapag Lloyd’, which are current day shipping agencies.
