Opened in 1975 the famous 7 1/4 inch railway has gradually expanded over the years to become one of the countrys premier miniature railways and a major attraction at Pecorama the home of PECO. In full colour the book covers the early history of the railway accompanied by some wonderful photos of the line being built and in operation over the years culminating with a detailed look at the line today and the roster of locomotives in use. We even get a glimpse of the new LPG-powered locomotive which was unveiled at the 40th Anniversary Gala week (between 24th to 31st August 2015) The locomotive was named on Sunday 30th .August by BBC News reporter and railway enthusiast Ben Ando The book will be of interest to those who have visited Pecorama before but also for those who are just interested in learning more about the railway. Its a fascinating story and one not to be missed!
