This LGB model is a replica of a modern catenary mast used on Swiss railroads. This system uses two wires: a catenary wire hanging from a support wire. This authentically detailed mast features a solid aluminum post and two arms: one to hold the catenary wire and one to hold the support wire. The catenary wire is suspended 225 mm / 8-7/8“ above the rails. This mast can be installed with the catenary mast base (LGB56302) or the tilting catenary mast base (LGB 56303).
