The Cobalt-iP Digital features an exceptionally low static current draw, minimising power bus loading. It also operates across a wide range of DC and DCC power supply voltages.

• DC operation: We recommend a regulated 9–12V power supply.

• DCC operation: Compatible with DCC voltages from 7V to 23V.

• Low power consumption: Ideal for layouts with multiple turnout motors.

Simple Installation & Intelligent Control

Every Cobalt-iP Digital motor is supplied with its throw bar already centred, making installation quick and straightforward.

Using simple software commands, you can activate or deactivate self-centring and even reverse the throw direction. This makes it easy to match the motor to your layout requirements, track diagrams, computer displays or automated control systems.

Versatile Connections Built In

Cobalt-iP Digital motors offer exceptional connection flexibility without the need for additional accessories.

• Frog polarity switching: Requires just one additional wire.

• Built-in SPDT changeover switch: Ideal for interlocking, signal feather indicators, ground signals and other accessories.

• Panel switch operation: Control your turnouts using conventional switches.

• DCC control: Operate your turnouts directly from your DCC system.

• Feedback capability: Panel switch terminals can also provide direct high/low state feedback to compatible computer or DCC systems.

• Flexible operation: Use DC, DCC or a combination of digital and analogue control.
