120TEA002 Oxford Diecast TT:120 TT Gauge Ferguson TEA Red
Details
The Ferguson TEA is a model of the Ferguson TE20 (often called the "Little Grey Fergie"), a popular agricultural tractor manufactured from 1946 to 1956 and known for its small size, light weight, and manoeuvrability. It introduced Harry Ferguson's hydraulic three-point hitch system, a standard that revolutionized tractor design and mechanised agriculture worldwide, making it the first tractor affordable to the average farmer. The TEA stood for Tractor England with the model A signifying Henry Ferguson’s ‘suction side’ hydraulic control system. David Brown Tractors – another great name in the industry - manufactured the Little Grey Fergie in Huddersfield throughout its life.
Oxford have modelled the Ferguson TEA tractor in both 1:76 scale and 1:148 scale previously and here it is again in the diminutive 120 scale, decorated for its second release in grey with a bright red engine cover and front radiator, black seat and steering wheel and finished off with red rims to the huge black wheels with grey hubs. Small but perfectly formed!
